Tim is President of the World Equine Veterinary Association. He has lectured around the world and has been widely published. He is an Honorary Professor at the University of Glasgow and an Associate Lecturer at the Universtiy of Cambridge. Tim is the Senior Surgeon at the Rossdales Equine Hospital, Newmarket and a past President of BEVA and the BVA.
In this session you will see
- the various methods of investigating dynamic upper airway obstruction in horses.
- a description of the more and less common conditions of the upper airway and their management, supported by still and dynamic images.
And by the end of the session attendees will
- gain a good working knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the equine upper airway.
- better understand the current limitations of both diagnosis and treatment of upper airway obstruction in horses.
